Was that October 2004 tape of Osama real?

It looked like him, much more than Kandahar Fat Cheeks did anyway. What I was wondering was whether there was any correlation between the lip movements and the sound. Maybe someone who knows about such things could speculate on the likelihood that it was an old video track updated with a new soundtrack.

One might question the existence of one Osama bin Laden.
This guy is 6' something and on dialysis. That kind of power drain alone in Afghanistan should be enough to determine where he is. But do they really want to if he does exist. The name can be quite convenient at times when the regime needs to prop up the fear in the hearts of the believers.

There was also another supposed Bin Laden video (December 13, 2001) but it seems to be a fairly clear fake. The faces (of Bin Laden and the "actor") look quite different, and even the translation is questionable:

Considering the video shown before the 2004 elections, the facial features are different on close inspection, and the grayness of the beard looks just the same as it did three years earlier.

9. There has been all sorts of online dissection of the old tapes--

--but no real analysis of the October 2004 tape. Is there any way to find out if an old video from when he was known to be alive could have been redubbed with a new fake audio recording?

I'm wondering why this hasn't gotten the attention of on-line detectives the way that the Berg tape did.
