I am also taking parts of some other threads from Wednesday during the surgery. I know that Andy will be so glad to actually see how many of you were out there rooting for him. (I can tell you, there was intense rooting in the waiting room, too!)

Andy really would love to get back online and "see" everybody in person, but he's not going to be able to for a day or so at least...

Good to hear the patient has been up per doctor's orders. The nurses didn't get my mom up to walk after surgery even though there were orders to do so and she ended up with a blood clot. I bet he's got a top notch team there. Both JH and the "on the ground" team.

I'm so proud to be a part of this community and the good people here. Andy, we wish you a speedy recovery, can't wait to hear from you soon. Beth, you have been amazing, you've been a rock and a lighthouse in a very nasty storm. DU made it through to harbor and Andy thanks in great part to you.

Everyone here at DU should stand proud for taking care of one of it's own, and it is not the first time, nor shall it be the last.
