Chris Matthews IGNORED 2 separate mentions of fixed intel memo this week.
Tim Robbins brought it up and Matthews played dumb as if he never heard it.

Tonight, Sen. Corzine brought it up and Matthews completely IGNORED it and moved on to the Repub.

Can anyone doubt that the media is being DELIBERATE in covering up for BushInc?

They should be considered every bit the enemy as Bush and the GOP. Without the complicitness of the media protecting him and his fascist agenda, Bush would be in jail where he belongs.

2. Breaking News!
The only people watching Matthews tonight are Shut-ins,mental patients, prison day rooms were the tv remote is broken and DU'ers.

I does not matter what he says or does because nobody is watching.

3. It matters because the press feed off each other and whatever issue
gets the broadcast interest gets to stay alive.

I think it's important to keep calling them on their complicit behavior, no matter what.

9. Bingo- that is why the top DEMs should bring it up on those shows.

That is what I've been saying for weeks now.

Tweety aint gonna talk about it. He is paid by Jack Welch.

Dean had a whole hour last week on MTP, plus a segment on Judy Woodruff but failed to mention it. The old excuse that these Dems are not allowed on those shows does not cut it either.

12. I never said they weren't allowed. I said the bookings were manipulated
and they weren't booked on hot issues that could hurt Bush.

Dean had a tactic to hold off for many months so he could control some of the direction of the interview when he finally accepted and he STILL was confined too much by Russert and Woodruff.

I agree, with the time he was given he should have worked it in because that time IS precious to Dems. He has got to get a handle on how they operate and be even more aggressive about calling Bush out, especially on the memo.

14. Okay- and I concede that Tweety "should" talk about it too.
But we both know he will not- so I say we pressure DEMs to do it for them.

6. Chris Matthews
is no journalist, he's a republican media hack (no matter his affiliation) speaking the rightwing propaganda for his masters. He and nearly the rest of the media are enemies of any concept of reporting facts to the people. They serve no real nor noble purpose.

8. Howard Dean ignored it on his hour long MTP appearance as well.
We cant blame Tweety(R) for ignoring it if Dean, Kerry, Hillary, Reid, etc also ignore it.

I guess Tweety(R) and Russert(R) are threatening these DEMs with anthrax or somthing if they mention it, right?

And all these DEMs on the Senate floor talking about Bolton manipulating intellignece have yet to mention it either.

13. Russert asked Dean specific questions about Iraq misinformation.
Howard had every opportunity to at least mention the memo.

And we should not have to be 'asked" or "confronted with" specific issues- we should talk about what wever is important- why wait to be asked? In this case, Dean WAS asked and he was still too scared to talk about it.
