2. Macho cr@p
The same macho cr@p people like Rob Dibble and Mike Golic push, along with the practises in 10000 degree heat.

"It's ok. It forms unity."

Yeah. Unity through bullying.

3. Ever been on a sports team?
Guys don't become friends because you tell them to. They aren't always freidnly to eachother.

4. I'm sorry
This isnt hazing anymore. It's breaking the law. Shoving a plunger up someone's @ss is what it takes? Then count me- a sportscaster- OUT.

Also, the practices in the heat are incredibly stupid.

5. That's different

shoving a plunger up someones ass should land you in prison. Heat practices are fine as long as the players are strict hydration diets. That means fuids for weeks prior to such activity. The day of is too late.

6. Really?
So you think that, in 100% humidity in Jacksonville, it made sense to practice during the day rather than, say, bringing in lights as was suggested, and practicing in the late evening/night?

7. Like I said
it makes sense if players have been on a diet that allows them to do so. I played soccer for a long time man and we run a hell of a lot more then football players. If you hydrate yourself in preparation for a horribley hot day you can do it. However I have noticed that when these reports are on TV they talk about fluids availabe there at the time, those don't matter at all. The day of is too late.
