Vote on Bolton coming up this week
Vote on Priscilla Owen tomorrow at noon, then proceeding to the Bolton nomination. There will be debate, vote to be scheduled for later in the week.

1. That could be the reason for this
'deal'. The WH was upset with Frist because they wanted the vote on Bolton first and this would delay it. Can we filibuster the Bolton vote?

to bring the Senate to a standstill? Months and months of Republicans inability to pass more shitty legislation would elapse and by the time Bush got around to a recess appointment more time has elasped for Iran to defend itself against to often predicted summer attack.

You just said better what I was trying to say. Now that there is a deal, Bolton's confirmation is more likely.
