Another Deeply Meaningful Clark Thread
Clark is good looking enough to be America's leader. He's well spoken, has good teeth, and he plays nice with the other talking heads on TV. You can tell he plays golf. If you don't get the warm fuzzies from the friggin' President, what good is he?

He'll have some trouble with the Southern Baptist vote. Clark was raised in that faith but became a Catholic in Vietnam. What an insult to Southern Baptists! If they boycotted Disneyland for giving medical benefits to same-sex partners, how is Clark ever going to appeal to them?

Also, Clark has to worry about coming across as too much of a smarty-pants. Occasionally a candidate for president has to use a big word, but Clark is full of 'em? What the hell does multilateral mean, anyhow? Bush comes across as a straight shooter, and so should Clark.

</sarcasm>

p.s. - Have you seen George's yellow little teeth? They're ugly.

1. The problem with your sarcasm is that it isn't
They are actually valid points. Clark's conversion from Baptist to Catholic will be an issue if he wins the Democratic nomination and the media will pillory him if he comes off as too smarmy.

3. Alert?
What is the reason for the alert? It's a fact that Clark became a Catholic while he was in Vietnam. It's also a fact that the Southern Baptists boycotted Disneyland. When those people get pissed, they get pissed!

The rest of the post is just one person's opinion, the same as anybody else's. Does Clark play nice with the other talking heads on television? Does he have pretty teeth? How's his golf game?

There's no reason for an alert here. All of the factual statements are correct. You could look it up!

4. Have you run out of Kerry insults?
Or will you be cycling though the candidates on a weekly basis?

7. Insulting Kerry
Kerry's supporters are "tired" of being reminded that their candidate voted for the war at a time when we looked to our Democratic leaders to show leadership against it. He wasn't there for us when we needed him; he was a big disappointment. Even if the majority of Americans were tricked into supporting the resolution, Kerry had access to the same information as 23 other Senators who got it right.

Kerry showed none of the courage that we associate with people who've been awarded the Silver Star. Rather than being indifferent to his personal safety, Kerry seemed all-consumed with it! He didn't stick his neck out at all.

AFAIC he doesn't belong in the race for President. He should withdraw for the good of the party.

6. I agree with you
about Gorgies teeth. They are very small and icky. I pity anyone who must stand within 3 feet of him.
