Listening to C-Span. The term Up or Down vote is being used by
a commentator as a term associated with the vote. The rethugs have done a really good job of changing the countries language to something of their choosing.

This isn't good for us.

2. Control the media, control the message..
They have been doing this forever, and bite by bite they have eaten the whole donkey:(

Years ago, they started by making "LIBRUL"{ a "dirty" word, and no one called them on it.. then they took the "ic" away from our name and no one complained (except for US) about it. I hear Democrats now saying "the Democrat Party"..If we continue to accept their memes, we cannot really complain when they continue to do it.

The very LEAST we should have done was to have our own politicians correct them at every opportunity, but they just pretended they did not hear it. We should have started calling them "the republic party", as a signal to them that we KNEW they were deliberately bastardizing our name..
