I Remember When ANY Decent Sized Bombing In The World Was News...
It wasn't that long ago at all. Now they go off all day long killing scores and scores in Iraq and it is virtually ignored.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A car bomb explosion killed three U.S. soldiers in central Baghdad Tuesday while a fourth was shot in a drive-by shooting. Four more soldiers were killed in another bomb blast a day earlier south of the Iraqi capital, the military said.

In addition, six Iraqis were killed near a Baghdad junior high school for girls on Tuesday, a day after 49 Iraqis died in a string of explosions, suicide attacks and drive-by shootings.

In Tuesday's first attack on Americans, a bomb rigged to a parked car exploded next to a U.S. convoy as it was patrolling in central Baghdad at 1:30 p.m., said U.S. military spokesman Sgt. David Abrams.

Weirdly, it is only in part the MSM's fault. I see these stories fairly often. It is like the pubic simply has no interest in it at all.

I guess some people, when great crimes are being committed in their names, would rather not know the details!

Are we really that desensitized after just 4 and a half years of Dubya Psychosis?

1. We killed 4 million in Vietnam but that wasn't the reason for the anti-war
marches. It was mostly college students and young people who were subject to the draft. That war went on for 20 years. Patriotism is a great mind-bender. You are raised to believe in your government almost as much as your church. You have the president saying things are going well and the media isn't saying much else, even with the deaths. This is all the Iraqi's fault anyway, because we gave them their freedom and their brand new democracy, so why are they fighting? It takes an awful lot to realize that the real enemy is your own government. I've been there. 25 years ago I realize what a scam the government was. That's probably why I was against * from the primaries of 2000 onward.

The Churh!

Sounds like it time for me to report for my re-education.

My parents actually tought me to think and ask questions. Almost no dogma at all. Impressive since they are long time republicans (real ones though. Not this repugnant new Neo-Con, Bible banging type).
