4. Sums it up, talk about a picture paints a thousand words!
I always thought these people were creepy looking anyway. And now, they make me think of fundies!

5. HAHAHAHAHA
I love it! Beautifully conceived, beautifully rendered, subtle but direct, it should be in a museum.

Bad times are actually good for art, because the creative thinkers have such a surfeit of bad vibes to work with. The Spanish Civil War spawned Picasso's Guernica and a zillion songs, WWI sparked Dada and serialism (n.b. not the same as surrealism), and the Bushist Reign of (t)Error looks to me like a similar catastrophic spur.

10. Absolutely marvelous, the more I study this picture the more
I see. After looking at the farm lady closely I realized that it could be Ms England's mother or even her. The old man could be that senator, Pat Roberts.

Tis a classic, did you do it?

30. How would i paint it
I would add a massive stockpile of nuclear weapons in the background,
with some nukes going off in the distance, as the american mythical
puritain farmer these days, is a farmer of weapons, military empire
and death, as much as prisons and torture.

perhaps in jordan, torture and underpants take the stage, but my
american eyes see thousannds of nuclear weapons armed by fearful little
minded men, threatening to kill hundreds of millions... and the nation
state is based on that more than anything else... police state,
torture, killing, destroying all persons, domestic and abroad that
ALL are reduced beneath the combine of hate and repression, lovingly
cloaqued in euphemisms of democracy.

but he's doing it for the ME, & that's what they see. However, we shouldn't let this kind of stuff fall under the radar too.
