How are we going to do that? Our leaders won't fight for anything. Oh no, they might lose!

4. Rugh row...not happy with today's outcome? Longterm I believe it is
liveable, where a loss of the fillibuster was not liveable. Moderates have managed to sink the repukes ship and fristie along with it...I could be happier, but this makes me feel pretty fuck'n good! Gona sleep tonight for a change!

7. I agree, they got no fight.
Well a select few still do, Boxer was great on c-span. She basically said "Those 7 dems are pussys. But, f-u I'm gonna stay and fight."

I love her.

3. The polls show that the public is beginning to turn to Dems
on those issues. I can only hope that Bush will continue to hit the road promoting his Social Security plan.

12. Even if we can't win (ESPECIALLY if we can't win)
we need to put forth bold initiative and start taking control of the agenda.

Then when 2006 comes along, we can say, "The Democrats proposed a program for freeing us from dependence on Middle Eastern oil, and the Republicans blocked it. The Democrats proposed a program to guarantee health care for every American, and the Republicans blocked it. The Democrats proposed a means of saving Social Security and Medicare with no benefit cuts and no extra tax burden on average Americans, and the Republicans blocked it."

Stop just reacting to the Republicans' moves.
