Tweety NOW proclaims the filibuster an institutional necessity
And the loss of it a constitutional crisis.

Where was that opinion last night?
Last night it was an extreme ploy to disrupt the senate?

Twist and squirm and skew and spin

16. "Tweety" is Chris Matthews of Hardball.
His staff gave him that nickname because of his canary yellow hair.

17. The only time I see Tweety is the last five or so minutes when
I flip the channel over for Olbermann and when General Clark makes an appearance.
The rest of the time, I never watch the flip-flopper.

10. Oh, good God, what a pompous ass! It's just a weird fluke in the rules
We won a specific battle tonight that gives us the power to wage battles later, that's all. We didn't preserve or kill anything to do with the Constitution. In a decade, we'll be in power and WE will want it killed.

It's just politics. It's a stupid loophole in the rules that works for our benefit now. Glad we saved it. One day I won't be. That's the way politics works.

Tweety needs to keep his hands on the table and off his lap.
