Blockbuster DVD inserts (National Guard)
So, I got home from Blockbuster yesterday after I rented a few DVD's. As I opened the DVD case, Blockbuster put in a paper insert on the other side of the DVD itself. Normally, they'll put in advertisements for games, or other movies on sale. The one I saw grabbed me by surprise. An advertisement for the National Guard. It was about the size of a post card that could filled out and sent in for "free information."

What did I do you ask? Well, I grabbed my big, black, lucky Sharpie and wrote "Enjoy Iraq" on the insert.

I wonder if they'll notice?

1. You never know
I wonder how that's going to work for them.

President Bush's foolhardy plan to invade Iraq has made the United States far less safe.

2. Somebody alert LynneSin about this
She might wanna rethink her plan about using Blockbuster instead on Netflix after this little tidbit.

Anybody else get this ad in a movie? Wonder if it is just local in the OP's area or if it is a new company policy.

3. Blockbuster is 60% red - Hollywood Video is 50% red
That 10% was enough for me to switch to Hollywood ... along with Blockbuster's other business practices.
