4. Yep
Either that or he has a script infront of him. He can never do anything on his own. Clearly he is not the true president.

9. As I posted before
Edited on Thu May-19-05 12:03 AM by SeattleGirl
Several days ago there was another post on this topic, and I'm going to re-post something I said on that one, because that thread died out rather quickly, as there was a huge burst of new posts.

Anyway,I was watching my DVD for "Farenheit 9/11" a week or so ago, and when it got to the scene where * lands in Florida on 9/10 and is on the tarmack with Jebby and some other men, * turned his back to the camera to shake someone's hand, and all of a sudden somthing caught my eye. So I backed it up, played it again, and paused the picture at the point where he turns around, and I swear, that same square "bulge" is showing in the back of his jacket......anyone else ever noticed that? If you have the DVD and the time, check it out. I don't think I was "seeing things".

Edited for spelling.

Do you know how far down the scene was?

I do think it's after all the stuff about *'s earlier business and political career. Do let me know if you see it too.

16. I've never seen that, but.........
In two separate forums (CGCS and DU) I made posts of a 2002 picture from the WH website that shows * in a tee-shirt sitting in his pick-up truck with a very prominent bulge on his back, size consistent with the one in the debates photos enhanced by JPL.

I empathizes with you not wanting to re-post when priors get ignored and fade away.

If there is interest I will find the image.

18. I recall that pic
And it's what makes me think the bulge is some sort of medical device since he wasn't in the process of giving a speech or answering reporters questions and had no need for a "feed".

13. He's a mess alright,
but I think he is wearing the best body armor money can buy...
you know, the kind that our troops in the Middle East don't get.

Now, he could still be wired, of course. He can't be trusted
to utter more than a couple syllables on his own.

I wish they would just outfit him in an entire suit of armor.
I am sick to death of seeing him everywhere.

or is that about how he's looked for a while?

He looks like he's putting on weight.

23. the "official" story ...
... is that he's been unable to exercise properly since he messed up his knees last year. Bush has made various cutsey references to this, e.g. his much-publicized resolution to "give up cheeseburgers" -- but I've noticed that his middle (which must be responsible for most of his decision-making, since he frequently talks about "gut feeling") has protruded at other times, too.

Let's not forget that this is perfectly normal on 50-somethings -- yet his staff persist in propping up the myth of the uber-athletic Bush, who is so much better than us lesser mortals. (Remember how they made fun of Clinton and Gore for gaining weight? There was some ridiculous puff piece implying that Bush is so much more disciplined and virtuous than the previous administration because he keeps himself fit ... I notice that they haven't been trotting that rubbish out recently!)

Bush's grasp of basic biology being about the same as his understanding of economic principles, it's no wonder that he's gained weight AND put the country into massive debt. Reportedly he has quite the sweet tooth, and he probably doesn't realize that if he's taken in more calories than he's burned up, his body will store the excess as fat. Just as he doesn't realize that if he spends more money than the government collects as revenue, there will be a deficit. I'll bet he's gotten the two concepts mixed up somehow.

26. 50 somethings?
Crap, I'm in my late 30's and am getting a middle-age spread. Of course, I haven't exercised regularly since a few hurricanes collapsed my garage on my equipment.

Back to the subject: I thought the post meant he was high on coke again...as if he ever stopped.

15. Did he buy that suit at Goodwill?
Jesus, it's too small, rumpled and the color makes him look really old and somethat ill. I swear, the family must be clothed by Dems. Nobody who likes them would let them out of the house looking how they do.

I don't think that's a wire, the arm is such an odd place for it. I'm guessing some sort of medical device.

24. "Business Week" agrees with you!
Everybody missed this one: The President is clearly ill-suited for the job. I mean this in a sartorial sense.

He can't tie a tie. Look at the pictures. His knot is as awkward as his speeches with a Teleprompter. His tongue gets tied better than his cravat. But that's not all. Bush's shirt collars don't quite fit. And some of his outer-coat sleeves are too short. He's more pubescent than Presidential. If his father's Administration was J. Press, his is Not Pressed.

27. * better get back on his mountain-trike--his suit button is about to blow.
As for the line on the sleeve, it looks like a cheap Fruit-of-the-Loom T-shirt under his shirt and cheezy suit.

What a bum.
