Day 7 - Do you know where George is?
Ever since last Wednesday when DC went to red alert and George got caught fooling around in the afternoon with an old HS buddy, we haven't seen much of George.

Bush has appeared for one photo op each day and that is it. He has not taken a question from the press in over a week. He has not directly addressed any of the ongoing crises that he has caused. In the meantime, disasters and scandals abound. If Bush isn't up to the job, which apparently he isn't, then it's time for him to go. It feels like the Eve of Destruction and the Captain is too drunk to take the helm.

5. If I had an employee
who never showed up for work, stole money from me and then had an attitude on top of that, they would be fired in a NY minute. This sort of crap is not tolerated in the business world, why should we be tolerating it in the WH?

7. He's scheduled to be
in Milwaukee tomorrow to talk about social security. I will be there to greet him, although I know I won't be anywhere near him by the time his troops shut down most of the city.

8. Answer: "Bush Headlines $15 Million RNC Fundraiser"
What did you think he was doing? Working for us? Now that the SS Disaster Tour is over, he doesn't even bother to combine his fundraising with "official business" of speaking to a handpicked crowd about "issues". Now he just grabs the money.

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory?id=767464
On Tuesday night, about 1,500 people stood shoulder to shoulder to hear Bush speak in a basement ballroom at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in downtown Washington. Many gave more than the $1,500 ticket price, helping the RNC raise about $15 million $1 million more than it did at its non-election year gala in 2003, but less than half of last year's total.

Donors stood and dined buffet-style on jumbo shrimp, spinach salad and other offerings, rising on tiptoe to see the president over the heads of others in the packed ballroom. Business attire was the suggested dress.

9. He managed to have Scottie announce that he's getting his vote
no matter what. And that means a simple majority of 51. Shrub is in hiding because he's secretly forcing these judges onto the floor. he's trying to make it look like it's not him, but Scottie said so, so, it must be true.

11. He was on c-span yesterday
Talking about something or other somewhere or another, maybe when he had Owens & Brown & Frist & co at the White House.

I a day or two before that he was at a memorial or something

I always turn him off whenever c-span broadcasts his appearances so I don't pay a lot of attention to exactly where he is or what he talks about.
