They continue to make reference to me as a "fake" journalist, because I am clearly a conservative and asked questions that millions of Americans wanted to have answered. I often wrote about the professional conduct of other journalists and their news organizations.


My reporting on Tom Daschle and the Sioux Falls Argus Leader has been credited with having a profound effect on last year's senate race in South Dakota. It was my reporting the first exposed Ambassador Joe Wilson's deception about how his was chosen for the mission to Niger. I was also first to report that CBS producer Mary Mapes was the source of the phony documents at the heart of Rathergate.
