Police want to change image-start with losing the black stormtrooper look.

The cops in my hometown wear all black,a look that seems to be popular in other cities. They said on the news they want to change their image, make it more approachable.

1. Cops in my town are switching to blue
They've always looked like park rangers here. Tan slacks w/ green shirts. They're switching to an all blue uniform. It's really sharp looking.

2. They are going to get rid of the Condi Germany look?
They are going to do away with the black long coats and boots look?

4. Intimidation is the sole reason for black. Sports teams swear by it.
I bring a mirror to protests. I get right in the faces of the storm troopers on the front line, and allow them to see themselves.

We can crawl into THEIR heads, too.

6. Wonder what color their full face masks will be?
Hopefully they won't clash with the rest of the body armour. Of course, it'll be pretty hard to tell when they're breaking your door down at 3 a.m....

7. I think they just wanted their vests to match. Nothing wrong with that.

If Kevlar starts making vests in multiple colors before every bicycle, hummer or SUV an American marine had to ride in Iraq is covered with the stuff or armor plating.. I will freak out!

The USA is at war.
