On CNN right now
all of those oppressed Cubans are in the streets--thousands of them.
If we did that--we would be tasered and locked up.
Who is really the oppressor?

3. But they also reported they are protesting the USA ....
for harbouring some guy who blew up a plane awhile back or something rather .... not protesting their own government. Gotta get details, there is so much shit the U.S. MSM keeps us in the dark about.

4. Yes--I heard that
I got the details--was just commenting on the size of the crowds.
Did you ever see hundreds of thousands of Americans in the streets for anything in the past 20 years?
No--because we are too comfortable.
If we rose up in numbers like that--you can be assured tasers, guns and military would be involved--regardless of the reason.

7. I hear you my friend.
I'm glad someone other than myself caught that quick coverage on CNN. And you are correct, we would be tasered, water cannoned etc... and the MSM doesn't do our own country any favors for not reporting on the shit you and I have to go looking for on the Internet of what's really going on in this world. Too comfortable, yes, and too in the dark, the sheeple here in the USA are really blind to what is going on around them, and it seems quite a few of them are content to have it as such. Keep the faith, Peace.

9. large numbers of people do not congregate in the streets in Cuba
without tacit or explicit government approval at the very least, and government urging at the most.

10. I found that it was scheduled by Castro
but again my point was--the large number of people involved.
How many people in our comfort zone would get involved?

12. Protests in the US and protests lead by Castro...
...are not even remotely comparable in discerning public opinion.

11. AP piece
Hundreds of thousands of Cubans answered Fidel Castro's call to file past the American mission early Tuesday in a "March against Terrorism," demanding that the United States arrest a Cuban exile sought in a deadly airliner bombing three decades ago.

The picture of Castro at the protest is also a bit telling, don't you think?
