Why am I smarter than the State Department and the CIA?

Believe me, if you knew me, you'd be scared stiff at that.

Ok, so on CNN they do a story about how North Korea probably has 6-8 nukes. Then, on their little ticker, they run a blurb about how the State Department says that the Saudis didn't have the infrastructure to develop a nuke.

Hmmmm... let's see. North Korea, destitute, but with nukes. Saudi Arabia, very wealthy, but no nukes and wants some... Hmmmmm. Gosh, whatever could happen?

I think that the misAdministration is setting up for another "Oh, we had NO idea that ANYONE could POSSIBLY hijack planes and fly them into a BUILDING! Golly gee whillikers" excuse.

1. And what about Russia and the Saudis?
Russia could probably whip out a batch of nukes in a hurry. And with thousands of destitute scientists looking for work, they could probably be persuaded to set up a dascha in the desert if the price is right.

2. The new Russia/Saudi agreement is very scary for us
Bush really screwed us in the last two years - he's a uniter all right, uniting all of our enemeies against us.

3. My guess is Saudi would get nukes from Russians.
Russians are helping Iran with their nuclear power plant project.
Is it just me or does it appear as though the playground has turned on the Big Bully?

5. Russia's new-found friendship is disturbing
However, I have to ask these questions:

How will it play in the streets in Saudi Arabia? Will the wacko fundamentalists tolerate a Russian presence in Saudi any more than they tolerated the U.S. presence? How will the Wahabis react to the Russians after Putin has killed thousands of Muslims in Chechenya?

I'm guessing that Russia might enter into agreements with the Saudi Government but they would want to keep it low-key so as not to cause an uprising against the Royal family.

What do you think?

8. I'd say I agree with your position, I don't think the Russian will be
moving into our vacated AF base. So do you think the Russians are trying to replace US as the superpower? I think they're. I also saw on an international news source, the Russians are beginning to say international forces should be brought into Israel to enforce roadmap for peace process.

6. You aren't
You appear smarter because you look at the facts without a AGENDA.

Luckily for you, I have one for sale, cheap. It is used, but not much.

7. I believe the Saudis already have nukes...
...in the form of (small) bombs that can be dropped from planes.

- And...you can't count on some type of 'setup' going on...even if it's not with Saudi.

10. Well, for one thing
you don't last long in either the Foreign Service or the CIA if you openly question conventional wisdom.
