Now no part of the story will be out there for people to judge. Everyone will just assume it's all lies.

4. Sad... Truly the media has helped to sell this country down the river.
I reading the book Fraud and it talks about how the media has not only given the Bush administration (and George W. Bush) a pass time-and-time again but they've also bowed to intimidation tactics. This is very indicative of a sickness that could very well prove terminal for our republic.

9. Nixonian tactics
You know, the Bush bastards at 1600 remind me of the Nixon White House, but only worse. They take it to the next level.

They didn't like the Newsweek story, so they pressured them to retract.

It reminds me of how Nixon floated the idea of buying the Washington Post, b/c he didn't like their reporting.
