4. I voted no.
Though it pains me to be on the same side as the misadministration, I have never seen a toilet that could flush something like that. They clog with a minimal amount of toilet paper.

If someone knows where I can get a toilet that would actually flush a book, please, tell me!

Maybe they tore it up in small pieces and flushed it in parts?:shrug:

6. They are using 'flush' and 'toilet' incorrectly...
What the prisoners have is a bucket for them to use, not a flushable toilet, and that is what the book was thrown into so a book, most certainly, can be 'flushed' in that context.
