1. Hmmm. That does seem like an easy job.
So long as you don't actually have to go out in the field and like report the news.

2. Thanks
That's our local paper! I went on to read several of the rest of the LTTE and there were some really good ones! Here I thought I was the only lonely petunia in the Onion Patch. Looks like the petunias are more numerous than I thought. You gave me hope. :bounce: Here's another good one from the same section:

A quiz on quotations

Identify the Founding Father who made each of the following statements: 1. "The government of the United States is in no sense founded on the Christian religion." 2. "This would be the best of all possible worlds if there were no religion in it." 3. "I do not find in Christianity one redeeming feature. It has made one-half the world fools, the other half hypocrites." 4. "The fruits of Christianity are pride and indolence in the clergy; ignorance and servility in the laity; and in both clergy and the laity superstition, bigotry and persecution."

1. George Washington. 2. John Adams. 3. Thomas Jefferson. 4. James Madison.

In their attempt to create their own theocracy, some letter writers feel quite comfortable distorting the views of our Founding Fathers.
