What does this summer TV lineup say to us about women and minorities?

The NBC summer lineup is the subject of a post in the Lounge--the original poster says TV is "dumbed down" for the summer, and I agree.

But, take a look at the promo photos. Think about the message that it is sending to Americans about the roles of women,and minorities.

It's getting scarier by the day in the US.

In my opinion is ~ today there is more worthless trash on TV than ever before !

After reading the link that you provided - I'm not surprised at the lack of understanding people show to one another.

TV shows like the ones that have been broadcast for the past few years and the ones on the summer line-up desensitizes people to pain in others.

Save it for the airheads. I don't even know why I'm paying for cable each month. I hardly ever turn on the tv anymore.
