Question re Iran and the supposed "eye removal torture"

I wonder if anyone would think they would go so far as to use Iran's supposed "eye removal torture," as an excuse or pretext for invasion and war.

"eye removal" torture on some web page dedicated to the Iranian hostage rescue mission
