From my piano tuner, I got this postcard:

THE BUSH PEOPLE ARE WORKING HARD TO HELP ALL THOSE POOR RICH PEOPLE, YET I LAST SERVICED YOU BETSY ROSS SPINET ON 11/9/04.

IT IS NOW DUE FOR ITS NEXT TUNING. PLEASE CALL ME TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT.

Ha! I'm definitely calling. I usually throw out all the promotional stuff right off the bat but he got my attention!

Also effective - guy begging off a 101 freeway offramp, with sign "BUSH WILL PUT OTHER VETS LIKE ME OUT ON THE STREETS."

This had me frantically fishing around for change before the light changed, I'll admit....when it comes to anti-* sentiment, I'm a sucker, no sales resistance at at all!

USD will be worthless soon enough. And I was always accused of incurable optimism! I actually feel sorry for young people now, the majority of them are completely oblivious as to what lies in store for them.
