he made progress...he really got his point across about the constitutionality of dialogue and debate. He was great.......that old(er) born-again who has been married 68 years...is no dummy. Yes, Frist left the Senate floor and Byrd called the precise amount of attention to it. Know why Frist left? Byrd made his point. (And Frist probably had to take a call from Cheney and Falwell-Robertson-Bennett-Jones-Dobson on how to come back at Byrd).

After all, Cheney and Frist are doing it for there faithful religious base...Falwell through Dobson...these judges are for THEM. This is why they contributed in truckloads, broke the law preaching politics in their tax-exempt churches, manipulated their followers, and made essential guest appearances on tv, on their own programs, and at every type of council, convention, and secret meeting.
