Yesterday's reaction to the plane proves once again, bush isn't president
Edited on Thu May-12-05 03:43 PM by mopaul
not informed, while 30,000 govt. workers are put on high alert? the fact that the secret service didn't spirit him off to safety, just like on 9-11, means they knew he was never really in harm's way, they knew the whole thing was a planned incident.

i keep telling everyone, but almost no one believes me, bush is not the president.

2. I believe you.
I've known it ever since Cheney picked himself as his running mate back in 99 or 2000.

When Chimpy McCokespoon, then governor of Texas (much to our everlasting shame), announced he was in the primaries, I thought two things:

1. WTF? He just vehemently denied a wish to run!

2. WTF? That man is dumber than a box of rocks on crack.

Then when Cheney APPOINTED HIMSELF as his running mate, I knew. I knew right then and there who was in charge and it wasn't Littledick.

11. Well, he is what the is generally known as the prez
But not for any of us here. Gore and Kerry, you bet!! Surely it is really Cheney and Rove that are the culprits orchestrating everything, I mean everything! It is interesting to think about what would happen if C and R were NOT in the picture. As I've seen in many cartoons the puppet strings abound. I mean, the man can't even speak without someone giving him the answers via wire!!!! When the NYTimes axed the bulgegate story, I knew we were really lost then. I mean, aren't there some rules about prez debates and not cheating!!
Yes for all of us that know better, that Cessna ploy was just another trick. It probably does happen a lot. They just chose to expose this one;
make it look like terra.I can picture Rove on the phone. I hate to think what might be next. I hope 3000 or more lives don't have to be lost to make their point for another war. Geez don't get me started-
How do we expose Cheney and Rove for what they are?!!!

5. Yes, Yes and and Yes again.
What if that plane carried a suitcase nuclear weapon, and this was the prelude to a nuclear attack. My God the President was outside in possible blast range and the Vice President was in a motorcade.

A huge lapse in National Security. It would have decapitated top command instantly leaving the response to unamed military responders. Remember on 9/11 they could not scramble interceptors. No credible defense, and what you get when you meddle in other peoples affairs and foreign adventures.

6. Everybody knows that...
This fact plays well in the oligarchic and "wanna-be" oligarchic circles of the republican party. You know the ones who vote like millionaires since they think they will eventually be a millionaire?
( Semi-literate Nascar dads whos' talking points are transmitted to them over the airwaves via the mouth of sauron, Grover Norquist. )

Would Repukes *really* want * in charge? or like everyone else they know he is the frontman. This is ok to them, they didnt elect a single man, they elected a team. There is no I in team. blah blah etc.

I'm all out of tin foil, but I'm not sure if it was planned, but it was certainly seized upon by all who stand to gain by diverting the attention away from the nucular option debate and the Blair memo.

I doubt many would really assert he is in control. even his supporters.. and I guess in bizzaro-world way, thats a plus for him.

8. yeah, planned or not, the event didn't seem urgent enough to tell him
if he actually were the man with the football, he'd have been instantly told of anything.

and you're right, before he was elected i told my repub buddies that he was a moron and a tool and a fake, and they seemed fine with it, for tax reasons.

7. Agree. He is a glad handing front man who found some backing.
Edited on Thu May-12-05 03:57 PM by pinto
Unfortunately, these backers weren't about buying your neighbor's oil rights or any other acceptable West Texas pursuit, they were about buying the federal government.

(on edit) He was riding his bike....got your point.

9. I must agree. Or something the idiot* needs to worry about is going on:
I'd otherwise be hesitant, but bushiekins is hardly going to ride around, alone. He's got his service agents Pinky and Perky with him. So why weren't they told?

Either it's deliberate. Or what if somebody from INSIDE wishes * to remain uninformed? (that's wooly thinking, I know...)

10. I remember an old "Mission Impossible"
In which Martin Landau had to impersonate, (a key trick in the series), a central american dictator. Seemed the real dictator was kept drugged and under wraps by the real power brokers. Only for speeches would they sober him up enough to stand and wave. Landau switched places and when they next propped up the puppet, ML spoke the exact opposite of what the handlers had desired.

Why do I think that * is a drugged puppet? Where is Martin Landau when we need him?

12. Good point ! Cheney is probably the first responder?
But who is his backup? Bush obviously is not in the loop. With all the enemies they are making that plane could have been an attack. The Russians were scared out of their wits and heads rolled literally when the West German boy landed a small plane in the Kremlin in the 1980's. Any small plane is capable of delivering a nuclear/biological weapon. One envelope of anthrax would have been a disaster.
