bush and the rebublicans never want us to retire!
I've finally figured it out. They want us to die of old age on the job. Think about it. They have sent alot of our jobs overseas and the jobs we have left don't pay as much. They have eliminated overtime for some of us. These two things makes it harder to save for retirement. They are letting our pensions shrink or be eliminated. They want to destroy social security. People are having fewer children. They need tax payers!! :scared:

1. Just like the merry old days of England where you had the
Aristocrats and the working poor who worked 16 hours average a day....

2. everything they are about is providing cheap labor
starving old people will work cheap... as will "guest workers"

the rich stay rich and the middle class become part of the cheap-labor force. that is the plan

5. I read on the AARP web site
letters retired people wrote in telling how they survived on Social Security and most of them said they had to go vegetarian because the could not afford to buy meat. :-(

3. They want us reduced to the status of serfs, indentured servants
The corporations think "Why should be be paying all this money to people who aren't even working for us and bringing in money any more? Who cares what they did way back then?"

4. The choices in America today and tomorrow:
Be rich enough to consume to extreme excess
or be worn out as a cog prodcing wealth for the corporate masters.

6. Wages stagnant for decades - check!
Next up is reducing the amount of careers it takes to survive. Forget about Horatio Alger - that myth is as fraudulent as this presidency. Forget about "doing what you want for a living and surviving" - offshoring and insourcing takes care of entry level you need to start off in life and middle-positions you strive for.

Pretty soon, you'll be slaving at 2 jobs you hate to make ends meet. No savings, no investment, no pension. That's all gone. You're a GOP corporate serf till you push up daisies. Sorry you weren't born into the right family . . . sucks to be you heh heh.

I could read What's the Matter with Kansas over and over and I STILL will never understand how ANYone from the middle/working class considers Bush "their man". You must like getting castrated, stupid.

<snip from my own post, another thread>

The holy war is aimed at doing away with that modern invention called "retirement." Workers will be forced to work until they die, the way they used to in the good ol' days. The money they voluntarily put into the roulette wheel of "private retirement accounts" will ultimately end up in the pockets of the wealthy aristos who have a couple of generations of socialist welfare payments to be repatriated.

<end snip>
