Bush -- it's all about the bike, and not just yesterday
Yesterday....but also when there was a gunman outside the White House in 2001; an Iraq hostage crisis; a Sharon visit, even his daughter's college graduation. Apparently, Cheney and Co. want him in tip-top health -- but not making any decisions.

http://www.pnionline.com/dnblog/attytood/archives/001844.html

"None of this is accidental. After four-and-a-half years, one thing is clear: The people who are really running this country don't love George W. Bush for his brain, they love him for his body."

"Don't worry your pretty little face about shooting down civilian aircraft, and stuff like that -- we'll take care of everything. Just stay healthy and stay alive, so that Cheney and Rumsfeld and Halliburton and ExxonMobil and God knows who else can keep calling the shots."

2. The boy may be fit in the legs, but he is soft
in the belly. He needs to get off that bike and do a few situps.

3. Bingo
So true. This proved it. Why was he out in Maryland? My mom said he could've been out there for a lunch break bike riding and since he's president he can go anywhere he wants at any time I'm sure but I just don't buy it personally. Was he in Maryland these other times bike riding? Why Maryland yesterday when he could've gone around the block with secret service men?

4. I had read somewhere that the bike path in Maryland
is an "official" compound for W.H. officials (or some bull like that). Personally, I'm beginning to wonder if all these incidents have been staged to keep the American people scared that we're going to be attacked again. It seems they will go to all lengths to try to keep us in the fear mode. Frucking freeps.

7. He was biking at a Nature Reserve...
There are links in other threads about the Presidential Field Trip. It's set up for conservation & research. Visitors are allowed to hike (on marked trails) & ride a tram on a non-hiking trail--or get educated at the visitors' center. Recreation is a low priority & biking is specifically prohibited.

The place was probably closed to the public so he could play. Let's hope he & his entourage didn't do too much damage.
