So, who thinks * was really riding a bike in a nature preserve for an hour
AFTER the rest of the government believed they were under attack?

http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory?id=750191

See odd to anyone that the bike ride was so important that the President of the USA didn't find out the Capitol was being evacuated until an HOUR afterward?

4. That's funNee. But seriously, who keerz about this? There are
so many real issues which can be proven that need attention. For this I say, move on--nothing to see here. This is not the issue that's going to bring ** down.

5. Just thought it was very strange
that the president's bike ride was so sacrosanct that he couldn't be interrupted for an apparent terrorist attack. Not that it's a big issue, but I wondered whether he might have been doing something else that couldn't be interrupted....

13. "move on--nothing to see here"
Somehow, those words sound familiar.

I don't think the issue will bring Bush down, but don't see why people should just shut up.

2. Or that the DC mayor and city officials weren't told either?

7. This so can not be true. OMFG! WTF? When will enough be enough?
I've lost all hope. Sorry. I'll keep on keeping on, but why? Oh, just for the g'd hell of it, I guess, why else? I love Mario Savio, Abbe, JFK, MLK and RFK and Howard Zinn, let us not forget Ghandi and the list just goes on and on.

We've let ourselves lose a lot! Why are we letting it happen? Just tell me why?

I am so proud of South America. Maybe just maybe.........I think it is possible...... Social Democracy, what a concept. ........

9. Maybe he was visiting Jimmy Jeff.
Actually I think it was totally a set up. I feel very disinterested about any of these staged events . The grenade story is so phony IMO and so is this. The corporate media loves it.

10. I suspect that these intercepts happen with relative frequency.
Lot's of private planes around the Washington, DC area. No doubt, they chose to amp it up today and frame it as a possible terrorist threat. I'll bet that was an SOP event that was purposely staged - meant to distract from the Bush poll #s and reinforce the message "terrorists in planes".

That pilot was in the wrong geographic point at the wrong political moment.

Here's something bothersome to contemplate. What if evacuating on small aircraft incidences is the wrong thing to do? A Cessna might get a briefcase or 2 of exposives, but surely anthrax (remember, we still haven't found the perp who's already demonstrated the lethality and his product is weapons grade strength) could be devastatingly spread by a small plane. What if the plan had been for such terrorists to use a small plane and dump anthrax on the Washington population of workers, bureaucrats, aides, and legislators? Think how that emergency evacuation procedure could be used against this country....remember how the alledged hijackers used those hi-jacking training simulations to confuse our air defense on 9/11?

11. Yesterday, after the grenade incident I told my husband
that it was just a prelude for those sick, evil maniacs. Thought something might happen today! Well, I'll be damned...pretty sad when you can predict their next move!

14. I think so
Bush is just the front man, not the real power in the government. On the other hand, you better believe that Cheney was told right away about what was going on.
