FAUX NEWS: PEOPLE ILLEGALLY VOTED

Officials in Milwaukee say they've now established that, in their city alone, 4,600 more votes were cast in November elections, than there were voters listed as having gone to the polls. They also found that more than 100 people voted twice, used fake names, or voted in the name of a dead person and hundreds of felons ineligible to vote did so anyway.

4. Opps your right I guess I got carried away with this from Faux
Speaking of felons voting, a national study — cited byThe Tacoma News Tribune (search) in Washington state — shows that, on average, felons vote Democratic by a margin of three to one.

2. And Faux "knows" all these illegal votes must have been cast for Dems.
Just like here in WA state--the GOP is arguing that the election was "stolen" from Rossi because ineligible felons voted...and we're to believe that these felons all wanted to elect a female attorney general as their governor!

3. More Faux News from the same link...
"Speaking of felons voting, a national study — cited byThe Tacoma News Tribune (search) in Washington state — shows that, on average, felons vote Democratic by a margin of three to one. What's more, the study, published in the American Sociological Review, shows that if disenfranchised felons were allowed to vote, they would have swung the 2000 presidential race to Al Gore and could swing national and state elections in the future."

Translation: If ChoicePoint hadn't given us those "felon" lists in 2000 so we could purge the voter rolls, gosh, Al Gore would be President.

I officially hate Fox.

:puke:

7. Of course
This is how they have ultimately chipped away our side's support--by starting the War on Drugs and tricking Dem's into playing along. What is a "felon," after all?

And the purging of the rolls clearly leading to Gore's "defeat" has been known for quite some time, I think.

5. In Georgia
Edited on Thu May-12-05 05:51 AM by Jose Diablo
With the state voting entirely with Diebold Touch screens since 2002, there was a lot of discussions about election fraud. Many state Commission meetings and whatnot.

In one meeting, Cynthia Cox (Sec of State) testified that the people love the new machines. Of course many people didn't. Now one of the chairpersons of that meeting, a Republican (but I liked her nonetheless, a pretty smart person that knew the score, Rene Oberman I think is her name) questioned Cynthia closely and at the end of that meeting it was more or less decided the Touchscreen devices were crap because there was no 'paper ballot' to verify the computer driving the touchscreen.

A short 5 months later, this Republican Chairperson hit the news as being some kind of nut case. Her husband somehow behind this. Thus, nothing ever came of replacing the Diebold machines with something that could provide an audit-able trail. The 2004 election went pretty much as the 2002 with the first Republican governor since right after the Civil War(reconstruction period of carpetbaggers and scalawags).

Now here is the interesting part. In this years legislative session, Georgia passed something they called election reform. It had zip to do with election fraud with phony machines as that had completely disregarded. The new law changed how a voter must identify and verify who they are before voting. This wasn't the problem, but this Republican legislature, newly elected with the Diebold machines I might add, said we fixed the problems with election fraud, with all the applause and fawning of the media. The new law targets the black communities disportionately because they tend to be more poor and the people may have problems with getting suitable ID's. And of course, the blacks more times than not vote democrat tickets. Another form of voter suppression is how I read this new law. Just like Jim Crow.

Sometimes I think I am living in some make believe world where reality has no meaning.

To the Georgia legislature: The problem is with the machines you idjits, it is not voter fraud which your legislation attempted to solve, it is election fraud. Got it straight now?

what they're doing... You're right. Its a first step back to the old Jim Crow days.... and the media has said nothing about this bullshit the legislature just passed... They put one small column on page 10, about how certain civil rights activists are calling this passage racist.... Fucking bastards!... I really want out of this state (GA)...nothing but fucking racists assholes, doing their best to bring us back to pre FDR days.
