Your Other? Some fun questions
Okay, so let's just have some fun. This is how this game works... the first five responses must be to the questions below. The 6th response posts a new set of questions... you see, every 5 answers a new round of 5 questions. So let's play because we need some fun:

1). If you had a chance to meet a DU person, anyone, who would you want to meet and why?

2). If you could meet one Freepazoid talking head, which one would you want to meet and why?

3). If you could meet one famous person (regardless of genre), who would you meet and why?

4). If you could take 3 books with you, and only 3 books, to an island, which books and why?

5). If you could choose, would you choose heaven to go to? Define what heaven is to you. Would you choose hell to go to? Define what hell is to you.

4. Ok here goes...
1. Elizabeth Edwards - still cannot get over what a powerful speaker she was she i caught her on C-Span a year ago.

2. Michelle Malkin - I think she nneds called out on so much shit

3. jesus Christ - to get his views on record re the Phasrisees ( Falwell, Robertson, Dobson)

4. Catcher in the rye , Hitler- his part in my downfall , Whats the matter with kansas - all great works in their own genre.

5. Yes - a "place" where all negative emotions cease to exist and all is about love and acceptance...eg no jealousy , fear , greed , hatred...."spirits " of spouses , ex-spouses new-spouses and children can "co-exist" without the bullshit "down here".

6. I'll play
1. Andy Stephenson. I'd like to give him a hug. He's a huggy bear kind of guy.

2. Don't watch news or TV, but I would like to spend a few minutes "educating" Ann Coulter.

3. Henry VIII. Longtime interest, since I was ten.

4. Three books: Jane Eyre because I've never grown tired of it, To Kill A Mockingbird because it has always reminded me of my Southern childhood, and The Way Things Work because I would need to build a boat to get off the desert island!

5. I have no belief in heaven or hell, but I would consider a heavenly situation to be free of my physical ailments and able to pursue my interests and avocations without fear about money or practicalities of any kind. Hell would either be having to watch an endlessly repeating film of the things I have failed at in my life, though a close second would be being locked in a room filled with Fundamentalist preachers all bitching at me about how I need to be saved.

7. Ok, I'll try
1. No idea. Not really buddies with anyone here. Maybe Lazarus so we could talk about The Amazing Race and Survivor (my two favorite shows)

2. None of them but maybe O'Reilly because some of the things he says are so outlandish they crack me up and I can't take him seriously.

3. Charles Darwin or Stephen Gould. Maybe the latter because he just seemed to be a wealth of information.

4. Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier because I haven't read it in a long time (recently purchased it and getting ready to read it again) and probably a couple of biology or entomology textbooks because I am a nerd.

5. Heaven because as a kid my mom told me that's where my dearly departed pets went. Define it? I'm agnostic but I like to imagine it as a place without pain or sorrow where you can see all the ones you loved again.

9. Okay I will play
1. Will Pitt--I am in complete awe of his work.
2. Joe Scarborough--Would like to argue with facts some of the stupid points he has made with his arguments of fiction.
3. Mother Teresa--What an amazing person.
4. A Tree Grows in Brooklyn--A wonderful book--very insightful into how poverty can affect children....What's so Amazing About Grace--Wonderful inspirational book that discusses the art of forgiving others....Crossing the Rubicon--because I have not yet read it.
5. Heaven. I am still a Christian and I believe in the goodness of God. Besides, isn't it bad enough that we have to put up with the BFEE here on earth? Heaven is one place I know they will not be.:)

Okay here are my questions:
1. Who is your all-time favorite political figure and why?
2. What is your all-time favorite entertainer and why?
3. If you had the chance to live 30 years in poor health or 1 year of great health, which would you choose and why?
4. If you could go back to any period of time, which would you choose and why?
5. If you could choose...which would you choose and why. A. To be an insurgent in Iraq. B. To be a soldier in Iraq C. A soldier at Abu Ghraib.

Okay those are my questions....

10. Answer 2.1
Okay, so set 2, answer 1:

1). MLK - because he gave us all a dream of freedom (as sappy as that sounds)

2). Monty Python - entire cast in one - because they are brilliant, insulting, insane, and just hilarious.

3). I have lived in poor health for almost 10 years... I would pick one year for good health. The reason: I know the difference.

4). 1920's - so I could hang out with Bessie Smith, the lightness of it all, and the amazing clothing.

5). A soldier at Abu - because I would want to guard human rights

Okay, you really made me have to unstick my sleepy eyes and think on this last one. Great questions.
