Is he supporting their vote or condemning it?

1. I'll bet the silence is, well...
...resounding. Watch the ranks close.

2. "Dean Calls on Bush to Stand Up to Extremists and Oppose Real ID"

His position seems pretty straightforward and clear cut to me.

3. Sorry, but did he and everyone else miss Bush's memo
To Congress about his staunch support for Real ID?

Hello, can we please stop with paper filing and just say the word that needs to be said?

"Impeachment" or in this case "Chimpeachment"

5. You can say Impeachment all you want...
...with the GOP in charge of all both Houses of Congress, the White House and the majority of the judicial appointments, Bush could rape a dead boy on live TV, and he'd still not get impeached.

4. Dammit...
...that's not enough. Why doesn't Dean throw himself in front of Bush's motorcade? He would if he were serious. He's just another Dem sellout. </sarcasm>

6. Guess Dems Don't Want To Have To Explain
Why they refused to support the troop :eyes:

seriously, someone try to explain in three words or less why you'd vote against an $82 billion dollar legislation for the soldiers.

7. it's a crime....
Edited on Thu May-12-05 02:19 AM by mike_c
That meets your three words criteria, but the longer answer is that the occupation of Iraq is a criminal enterprise and every congressional vote in support of it-- or the "troops" conducting it-- abbets an ongoing crime against humanity. I'm not using those terms lightly, either. The invasion and occupation of Iraq is a crime against humanity under the U.N. Charter and the Nuremburg decisions, both of which were drafted and affirmed under the direction the the United States, and they have violated many of the most fundamental provisions of the Geneva Conventions. Every dime that Congress appropriates in support of that enterprise is a crime.

I'd vote against that $82 billion special appropriations bill in a skinny minute.
