Should we be connecting the dots?
Two so-called near attempts getting all this press coverage while the memo from Great Britain gets zero. My guess is this is a diversionary tactic.

1. I think "we" (here on the DU) connected those dots.... Not sure the MSM
did though.

3. I doubt they have. If they have heard the theory, I am sure they dismiss
it as a conspiracy theory.

4. Depends Which Dots
I see the ones of a low poll ratings and networks looking for "big stories" to out tabloid the other.

Thinking about it, one would hope there would be F-16 scrambled if any plane that refused to identify itself ventured into DC airspace. These guys did their jobs...one that didn't happen on 9/11. Considering all the air traffic in that corridor, I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often.

The difference is the corporate media needs a "flavor of the day" and this one hits those buttons they look for. Fear, terror, urgency. The pictures of people fleeing out of the Capitol and White House...good pictures, good TV.

Yep, it diverts from not only the British Memo along with a dozen other ongoing Repugnican scandals, rising oil prices, more job layoffs and any other substantial issue you care to bring up. That's not what brings the corporate media ratings and revenues...fear, titilation and anger do.

5. With the Gannon outing
they had to shut down most of their noise machine, so now they have to create their own alerts and they suck at it.
