What the hell were all those postings yesterday about hand grenades?
Sorry if I'm out of the loop here, but I haven't seen a thing in the newspapers about it.

I know the MSM doesn't tell us what's going on in the world, but if someone threw grenades at Bush, today's papers would have granted him sainthood for having survived.

So what the hell was that all about? DU was the only place I saw it. If there are other postings about this, please provide a link.

3. That link sounds like a Karl Rove ploy that didn't work out.

5. Yeah, a real non-story -- sounds like getting desperate to improve
those poll numbers.

6. apparently, while bush was in public in Georgia.. not far from atlanta
Somebody lobbed a 100 megatonne hand grenade on the stage behind him.
As fortune would have it, the trigger circuit failed to function and
the secret service did not find it until later, perhaps thinkig it was
just a large nuclear weapon, or rocket or something like that, and
totally MISSING, that it was a hand grenade.

Perhaps it comes from spending too much time around WMD's that hand
grenades go unnoticed. Well, its a nonstory, as the Georgia police
finally found it and returned it to its owner in texas.

7. Cripies! MSM missed the story: Saddam's WMD finally found!
Rumsfeld on secure video phone to on-site inspections team:

"The rest of those damned ordinance must be around there, somewhere, I'm sure.

"Where? Over there? No, that's a half-eaten pineapple. Quick, look under Putin's bed! A priest? Idiot! That's last month's story. Just keep looking, and call me. I'll be at the Nationals game."
