I noticed we only need 605 newcomers to celebrate 70,000 members at DU!

I have only been here since late November and it was about 40,000...

Several weeks ago, I saw someone else with a DU sticker on their car. We waved before we had to go take the exit, and I am pretty certain, this guy thought, we are 2 nutty women if he was not able to see our sticker at 70 miles an hour...

I am so glad to have found DU, and thank Will Pitt for it, I think it keeps my sanity and me from leaving this country...

but to be honest, it is really overwhelmingly tough and discouraging not only in politics and what we disuss here, but out there, to witness and experience the manifestations of decisions and consequences of decisions, or non-decisions, made by our elected representatives.

I dream of a day, when we can all sit back and say, yeah, those were the times...
