Right after Some-Say's and Orin's interview, Some-Say spoke with Senator Pat Leahy who lambasted Orin for being full of shit. He pointed out the whole situation of how Hatch personally pocket-fillibustered 61 of Clinton's nominees. Some-Say didn't have much to say in response, and was just her usual dismissive bitch self.

to turn off the tv. I'm glad to hear that Leahy was on to try to set the record straight. Judy is pathetic. She never even attempted to really challenge that smarmy litle Hatch. Good riddance to her once she finally leaves.

11. "Some-Say" Judy lobbed soft balls at Hatch

then allowed him to say anything he wanted, virtually unquestioned. So Hatch put on his best righteous indignation hat and claimed that what the democrats were doing was "absolutely unprecedented!" Just asked him a vaque question about Clinton's nominees, and Hatch said every one of Clinton's nominees that made it to the floor got a vote, and that that is all the republicans wanted...to allow the nominees to get a vote. Very crafty, no? Judy let it slide, but after commercial had Pat Leahy on, who lambasted Hatch while Some-Say tried to tell him this was entirely different.

It was as pathetic as any "interview" Some-Say has ever done!

13. I just saw Hatch on

Inside Politics. It's amazing that he would say the things he did. I get so tired of hearing about Judge Brown's sharecropper background. She is not the only African American that worked her way out of poverty. I've heard nothing but frightening things about Judge Brown. She is said to be worse than Clarence Thomas. Maybe the Republicans think they can convince the African American community that they support minorities by constantly talking about this black woman. Clarence Thomas' presence on the Supreme Court is a constant reminder that blacks should not support someone just because he is black. Thomas also came from a humble background but that reality certainly did not lead him to have compassion for the poor and powerless.

...something about judging people not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. Thomas and Brown both fail that test. So does Hatch, or as Carl Rowen used to call him, "Senator Unctuous".
