Well, damn...CNBC canned Topic A w/Tina Brown
It was the only NBC "product" I watched. Brown often presented progressive viewpoints without the obligatory right-winger to provide "balanced" screaming matches, did interesting segments with literary figures, and I loved the Hot Picks. It was a bright and thoughtful program.

I'm sure they'll replace it with something conservative. Have to satisfy their corporate masters.

1. Yes, it was a good show. Very entertaining.
And she actually had real BALANCE with her guests at the end. I think, though, her time slot was what killed her. Too bad.

2. Tina Brown is usually really good but sadly not
many people know of her or watch, or even get CNBC. I've started a few Tina threads in the past and they sunk like a boulder. x(

4. She's going to write a book about Princess Diana
It was a convenient time to trash the show, plus her ratings were just horrible anyway. I watched the show a couple of times and liked it, but it just wasn't appointment TV for me.

5. She posted at Arianna's forum today. Very funny. About cocktail
parties, phony smiles and wanting to put a dirty bomb up some blowhard's ass.
