Great expose re: Fred Phelps

It's a very long read. You wonder what would make people twisted enough to follow Phelps. This tells you, and it's really a sad story.

By the way, I saw someone mention Phelps as on the fringe of Christianity. If you read this, you'll have no doubts that he's not even on the fringe. If you believe in reincarnation... well, the twisted excuse for a soul inhabiting Phelps' body might have flown straight from Caligula.

if fags defy god, then why don't god just smite em...once and for all?
