you cannot be a good person, sincere in honesty and with genuine hope for others and not be a 'believer' though the pagans who have hijacked the good name of Christ have made that seem impossible....take a step back and remember that the bible says (i paraphrase) "many of those who are called my children are of the devil, and those who men say are of the darkness will spend eternity with me in heaven..."...in the ancient times, the philosophers spent much of their early debates working out agreed upon meaning of the words they then used formally in next level of debates.....i think they called it 'rhetoric'....anyway, the word 'believer' seems to mean a square jawed toothpick chewer with a twang in his voice and his arse crack sticking out (when he's not polluting the air with his japanese made pickup) but chances are Mother Theresa was a believer too, and she never run over any dogs, ever! ...so you just might be a 'believer' in the eschatalogical sense (whatever that means: hey i flunked kindergarten, so dont ask me...)
