Reader's Digest - what a repuggy piece of garbage
My mom bought one for her flight and left it here. I just about shit. 9/10 is pure repug crap. A huge article on how much the "Clean Air Act" has improved, the EPA is a bunch of doomsayers... that sort of thing. I remember seeing one last year that praised the positives of outsourcing jobs overseas. I tossed it and can't remember what else they had this issue but it was pretty obvious they are contributing to the dumbing down of America.

This month on their web page they have an article pressuring you to get into the housing market. This is not what I'm hearing - most are predicting a bubble and advising waiting it out.

4. Sometimes I buy it for bathroom reading material.
I bought the May issue and the article about Laura bush* made me just about puke!

5. I used to like it
for the "All in a Day's Work", "Humor in Uniform", and the other real-life funnies, plus some of the true life stories and excerpts from books. I don't read it anymore though, I can't say it's for anything I've read inside but when I've read the cover over the last year or two, it has sounded like a lot of RW crap. That's too bad, it was a magazine with such a variety of things to read.
