Anyone know this RW book?

My fundie stepsister's been reading this book, "Useful Idiots: How Liberals Got It Wrong in the Cold War and Still Blame America First,"
by Mona Charen. Looks to me like typical RW schlock, but does anyone know anything about this book or the author? I could really use some ammo here if we somehow get into a political argument. Anybody got any?
