It is time to declare war against the RW
Edited on Fri May-06-05 08:02 AM by ck4829
A shadowy sect of Wealthy Religious Fanatics are slowly taking over the government, they must be stopped now before it is too late.

Imagine a government full of people like Tom DeLay, do you want that? I had often been lambasted for saying there are worse things than Bush, there are, and it is this powerful and secret Syndicate that is perceived to us to be the 'christian' Right that is the worst of all.

They have:

Helped the Death Squads in Latin America.

Made our country weak when they went after Clinton as though they were obsessed with destroying him and America.

Supported other policies which continue to make America weak.

Supported Bush and his current crusades.

Supported many Dictators around the world. Some of these Dictators are up there with Saddam Hussein on the terms of atrociousness and yet they walk around as free as a bird.

It goes deeper than that too, much deeper. Let me show you how frightening this thing truly is.

Think "Oliver North", what comes to mind? Is he a Traitor, Drug runner, Terrorist funder, etc? It is acceptable to say "Yes" to any and all of these. Now think about Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, etc. and the fact that they are connected to him. North is a frequent guest on the 700 Club, both Robertson and Falwell have called North "a Friend", and I believe Falwell promoted North in his failed Senatorial campaign. The question is how deep is the connection and how evil is it.

They are more powerful than the Neo-Cons, soon they will eradicate them. They already have influence over them. Paul Weyrich has even said that the Neo-Cons are a problem and that they must be dealt with ASAP.

There are 3 ways to fight this Syndicate. We often go overboard with trying to oppose the RW, when there are actually only 3 ways to fight the RW.

Truth-Telling - Tell the world the stuff that they don't want the world to hear. "Hey, have you ever heard of Christian Reconstructionism?", "Do you know about Sibel Edmonds?", etc.

Attacking the Wallet - Organizing Boycotts, doing stuff which requires RW groups to spend large amounts of money, and questioning the Tax Exemption status of RW groups are all good examples of this tactic.

Counter-Recruiting - This damages the RW's chances of having more power. If the 'christian' Right were to take over America, they would have access to the Armed Forces of America, a very bad thing. This can not happen. This can also be used with Truth-Telling to get people out of RW Groups.

The Time to strike: NOW!

Chances left: 0!

It is time to declare war on them before they declare war on America and everything else in existence!

5. The fact is; Islamic extremism is one of our smaller problems.
While sure, they have the potential to blow up some buildings and kill some people, the fact is they are an underfunded, loosely compromised organization. There was a big deal made after the 911 attacks that OBL had somewhere between 300 - 400 million dollars he could bring to bear. Which may sound like a lot but to use against the worlds largest military force, it is about the equivalent of pocket change. We spend that much money in 1 or 2 days in Iraq.

No, the Al-Quede bunch planned the 911 attacks for many years, but the fact is they shot there wad on that day. If they had of had anymore it would have been forthcoming. For these guys it's a game of catch as catch can

The Christian extremist we have in our own country, now that's a different story. This is a group who has been planning there rise to power for the last 30 - 40 years. And while it is true they currently are not blowing up buildings and killing some people, the weapon they are using is much more lethal. Their weapon is the law, or more specifically, the subverting of it through the political process, and the damage they will do to the liberties, freedoms, and rights of people, will affect all Americans, not just some.

The Christians, which I saw on the net yesterday that some people are starting to call them the Christian Nationalists, which I like better as I think it is more accurate, is a very highly organized group. They are very well funded through a large defused network, which in many instances gives the benefit of avoiding taxes and makes the money hard to track, have a marketing unit, a mass communications unit, and have deeply embedded themselves within the political structure of the country. They currently have an army of lobbyists and attorneys in D.C. who are in fact the ones who are writing the law; they just have to get it rubber stamped in the Congress.

Here is a partial list of some of their network.

Although they tend to keep that in the background, but recently some of their writers and speakers have been letting it slip.
