Challenge: Create title for the FReeper note listing for ebay auction!

For those wondering what I'm doing with the FReeper note:

In a few days I will put the ORIGINAL FReeper note un-edited up for auction on e-bay with a starting bid of $10.00. 100% of the proceeds will go DIRECTLY to OPERATION UPLINK which distributes phone cards for our brave fighting men and women. OPERATION UPLINK only gives cards to soldiers who really can't afford them, (pay grade E7 and below). I'll ask the Admin's to post a link to the auction item so you can bid on it.

I spoke with someone at Operation Uplink today. They've been doing this since 1996. 90% of all donations go toward talk time, the other 10% goes toward promotional and shipping costs. (PM me for FAQ) I have great confidence in this organization which is affiliated with the VFW.

The phone cards cost $7.50 each, and they guarantee at least 15 minutes of talk time per card.

11. Something similar to this may be helpful

It contains phrases that may be searched on ebay, it is an attention getter, and it converys the message very clearly. However, it may need to be toned down just a bit, if it turns people off and they don't bid then it is the troops that suffer. Hell, if you can get republicans to look at the note and see the hate coming from their side, you may even get them thinking.

Someone here advised you well to include a notarized statement for provenance. So, will you include it in historical or paper collectibles? Seems like it just may a good example of the assault on freedom of speech. Maybe there's now a charitable auction category. But I'd also consider the extra few pennies it cost to list it in a collectible paper category as well if you find one that fits.

This is a great idea and I can hardly wait to bid.

to not be so confrontational in the auction title. The note itself is sufficiently eloquent. The fact that its being auctioned to buy phone cards for the troops tells who put it up for auction.

My fear is not of being confrontational ... its about ebay yanking the auction if it proves too controversial. Gotta be realistic, yanno?
