Watching the UK party leaders speak on Cpsan2
Edited on Thu May-05-05 02:55 PM by SGBL
getting asked questions from the british people.

My god it's so much better than what we have in this country right now.

There are no scripted questions. Hard questions are asked. Even the moderator goes off on the candidates.

They ask about genuine issues like iraq, human rights (the audience actually cares about them), the UK's responsibility for human rights and refugees. They don't have right wing nuts dominating everything with wedge issues.

One of the audience members just compared the conservative party position to hitler. Someone saying that to a republican on TV would be escorted out.

The audience is actually in shouting mathces with the candidates. Obviously not scripted, pre-approved audience members.

If our elections were like this the republicans would have 10% of congress.
