It's official, folks. This is my 1000th post and DU has kept me sane

Took me long enough. I started posting on DU in January, 2001. Here I am, over four years later and this country has only gotten more insane. Everyday, it reads more like fiction. I just wonder how far this lunacy is going to go and at what point other people besides us will wake up. From where I stand, it ain't looking too good right now.

If it wasn't for all of you these past years, I'd be drooling in a corner or hiding under the bed.
