12.5 trillion dollars worth of oil in Iraq?
I listened to a few minutes of Alex Jones tonight on the shortwave. His guest said there were 250 billion barrels of oil reserves there. Is my math wrong, or is that not 12.5 trillion dollars (at $50.00 per)? But, it's not about oil.

1. Did you hear the interview with Lt. Col. Karen Kawolski (sp?)
this afternoon....they were talking about Feith and she said that he definitely "confused" US interests with Israeli interests. Which leads to the broader question of whose interests this bunch are working for.

It was a very good interview. If it comes up in the archives, I'm going to post it.

18. Feith and friends
Connect the dots...Cheney&Rumsfeld - Feith&Franklin (the guy being written up by the FBI) - AIPAC - Likud/Sharon - Israeli security (connections to arms sellers and banking interests) - the Iraq war - saber-rattling over over Syria and Iran. GWB is merely a front-boy, maybe doesn't even "get it."
Oh, what a pretty web they've spun. And we US taxpayers are footing the bill in blood, treasure and world respect.
Before I get flamed for anti-Semitism, this conspiracy is all about money and power, nothing to do with religion or ethnicity although the rethugs are indeed playing the fundie end-timers for fools. So much fun to watch a tragedy unfold...

20. wasn't there some talk of a Pipeline from Iraq
to Israel if everything went according to plan? Which it hasn't and it won't. More utopian PNAC insanity.

9. I looked at a few other sites and found this additional info
they estimate that 350 Billion barrels are recoverable using todays technology compared to 650 billion barrels in the entire ME. It is rather intresting that Alberta of all places is seating a sticky, sea of oil.

19. But only a fraction of that is recoverable
The technology to recover the oil uses massive amounts of fuel and water to be feasible. Unless we run a pipeline from the Great Lakes to central Alberta, and build dozens of nuclear power plants around the area of the tar sands and oil shales, much of it is inaccessible.

too. Its only a matter of time before we are forced to defend ourselves from the newest member of the "Axis of Evil."

Edited on Thu May-05-05 07:49 AM by oscar111
Oil isnt supposed to be in mountains. Supposed to be in low areas like a desert.
PS who sings your aria?
