Anybody see MTV's Holocaust show this evening?
It was chilling--actors and actresses narrated the diaries of slain and surviving holocaust victims, many teens and young people in their twenties. Most moving was hearing sentiments from them much like our own--people stood by and did nothing like it wasn't happening.

During commercials, they interviewed teens about the Holocaust--asking when it happened. Most of those questioned did not only get the time wrong, they didn't even know what the Holocaust was. :wtf:

MTV has been a groundbreaker in many ways when it comes to diversity and I salute them for continuing on the same path with this show.

Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.

1. I stopped watching MTV when they
stopped showing videos. Just outgrew it I guess. That said I'm glad they are continuing their subtle campaign for equality it was one of the things that attracted me to it in the begining.

2. No, I didn't see it, but it sounds like an awesome show
During these fascist times in which we find ourselves, an MTV show on the Holocaust is very appropriate!

But i was so embarrassed for my generation when they began asking teenagers if they knew what the Holocaust was and one girl even responded with "oh, isn't that when jews light their candles".UGHHH.
