3. Great cartoonist
I wish he would do some work back home in Australia (he is originally Australian) we need that kind of observation. An amazingly powerful message.

6. Liberal bias is old
It's tired and needs a rest. If they don't like PBS and NPR, don't tune in. Just stick with Rush and Sean. Afterall, most people, including some conservatives, like it as is. Plus, it informs the nation on issues that matter. Er....could that be why they are doing this?

7. Sure, they like it as it is,
but as long as they can keep getting mileage out of it from a duped audience, they'll keep pounding away at the liberal-bias claim. It still works wonders when you need to suppress the awful truth!

11. Yeah
And churches are right in line with the "godless liberal hippies" crap as well. I just hope that churches will return to religion and et out of politics.

12. Those that ARE in politics aren't real churches IMO.
Edited on Tue May-03-05 02:49 PM by ktowntennesseedem
Genuine churches, with genuine believers who practice love, mercy, forgiveness, tolerance, etc., aren't involved in politics, except of course to whatever extent their members are civic minded and involved in the affairs of their country. Other quasi-church groups that are little more than religious-factions within the Republican party don't just need to get out of politics, they need to work on being church, because they aren't even close.

(edited because someone switched my coffee to decaf or something, and I can't think straight.)

8. I just heard a bit of the NPR bit broadcast this morning.
On the Diane Rehm show. The guests (I forgot his name) said that in 2002 and 2003 there were studies done (especially for Bill Moyers) to see if there was a liberal bias. Both studies concluded there was/is no bias whatsoever.

So why the hell are they bringing this up now? (a rhetorical question)
