One of the few times I've ever shut off the Daily Show in disgust. WTF was they thinking? His book's foward was written by Sean Hannity. I know they have repubs on from time to time (a little to often) but to bring on this traitor is just disgusting. This guy betrayed his party and his country by supporting that warmongoring facsist bastard bush. Standing in front of the republican convention telling people John Kerry wouldn't defend the U.S. without consulting the U.N. first...just thinking about it makes me sick.

It was bad enough when they had Dole on the other day. At least you knew where he stood all along. But to have this backstabbing asshole on to tell me why I don't have any decency is a new low. Truely a dark day for the Daily Show.

It's quite another to have a traitor on. I can tolerate the occasional right-winger on there, and I agree it's good to have both sides (if nothing else it helps us keep tabs on their talking points, and Jon is usually pretty good about coming up with some counter-arguments or at least making a joke out of it :)). I just cannot stand Zell, and I think giving him a platform to speak on and being nice to him only gives him credibility he doesn't deserve.

on one of the posts here "the revolution" said truly a dark day for the daily show--i think "the revolution" is right, but i also think this is a dark season for the daily show.

I thought to nights show was an 8.5 or 9 and YES Zell did almost pull his Gun on Jon, He said, "you better watch it..." then he started going for his gun. Or at least that's what he claimed.
