Runaway Bride...Wedding Singer... I have heard that life imitates art, but now we have degenerated to life imitating bad movies. :-(

(still laughing).

I'll put something like this . . . (rob a little bit from Cedric at the correspondences dinner).

NEWS UPDATE: The woman who ran away from her wedding, called in to say she had been abducted, and then they caught her in another state due to her spending money at ATM's, finally has revealed to police what possessed her to do what she did.

Sources say (one was the wedding singer), that she had been watching the Jackson trial on E Channel (especially the re-enactments they do using actors). After Jackson's ex wife (Debbie Rowe) testified, the runaway bride decided that Jackson could obviously keep her in a lifestyle that she had always dreamed of. Unfortunately, her fiance could not. She thought if she faked her disappearance, she would be free to offer her services as a surrogate. Since she is still young and very healthy, she felt she could have a child every year until Jackson was happy with his "own" children sleeping in his bed and not other peoples' children. In her opinion, MJ was 1000% innocent of the pedophilia charges he was in court for.

When she tried to contact Mr. Jackson and/or his people, and was told that thousands of women just like her offer their services to Mr. Jackson everyday. She was told, "You and every other female in the world!" Seeing that she would not be getting the easy ride through life she was so hoping, the runaway bride decided that she would feign confusion and blame it on prior mental illness in hopes that her ex-fiance' would take her back. If he did not take her back and forgive her, she was horrified to think she might have to get a job and make her own living.

more to follow as it becomes available . . .

(I thought I would add the Drudge Blog's ending to make it look a little important).

Posted on my blog so the bait has been set.

Please visit my blog for the actual report. Looking for a member or two or three hundred as well. http://p079.ezboard.com/bitsdebatable; then click -- In My Opinion -- then: so THIS is news?

LOL

6. For the life of me I simply cannot fathom how people seem
to follow such stories with absolute rapt attention, and on Fox News no less. Unless there truly is a BIG STORY (which I'll likely first hear about on the Web), I have no use period for any of the cable news channels. They clearly do nothing but blast 24/7 an endless stream of sensationalist tabloid garbage. But the truly sad thing, which by now I guess should no longer boggle my mind, is that there seems to be a significant number of DU'ers that can be counted among its audience.

information. You are jumping to conclusions with your statement.

I only watch it to help out Media Matters as a volunteer. If you have extra time on your hands (I know that is rare for most of us), check Media Matters and help out when you can.

Also, I watch Falwell on Sundays (reports on him to come real, real soon that you would not believe), as well as listening to OxyContin Limbaugh. I would listen to Hannity; however, he is opposite Randi, and there is no way in Hell I would miss Randi Rhodes.

I do not watch and/or listen to anything so Conservative for my own pleasure, because there is no pleasure in it at all. It's to help educate others who do not have the time to listen to these fools. They make up stuff (like Limbaugh); however, on Media Matters, we provide the proof of their ignorance . . . nuff said. :toast:
